To reveal the molecular regulatory strategies in watermelon adaptation to drought stress, we performed RNA-seq analysis of leaves from two genotypes (Y34 and M20) imposed to drought stress (4 d and 8 d) and without drought stress (controls, 4 d and 8d) using Illumina HiSeq2000 system.
